Pokemon GO Ponyta and Galarian Ponyta Community Day is the monthly iteration for September 2024. Throughout the event's duration, trainers will come across a large number of the Gen I Fire Horse Pokemon and its Galar variant in the wild. Moreover, apart from event bonuses, they can also purchase the Community Day-exclusive Special Research.

Schedule and event bonuses
The Ponyta and Galarian Ponyta Community Day takes place on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 2 pm local time to 5 pm local time. Shiny variants will also be available to lucky trainers.
The event bonuses are as follows:
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 3× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day. (2 pm local time to 10 pm local time)
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust. (2 pm local time to 10 pm local time)
Featured Attack
Trainers can evolve Ponyta or Galarian Ponyta during the September 2024 Community or up to five hours afterward to get a Rapidash or Galarian Rapidash. The evolved Pokemon will have the Charged Attack Wild Charge learned. The move's damage numbers are as follows:
- Trainer Battles - 100 power
- Gyms and raids - 90 power
Special Research, 4-star Raid Battles, and PokeStop Showcases
Trainers can purchase a US$1.00 Community Day Special Research. They will also be able to participate in 4-star Raid Battles featuring Ponyta and Galarian Ponyta on the same day from 5 pm local time to 10 pm local time. Do note that these are in-person events and not Remote Raid-friendly.
On top of it, PokeStop Showcases featuring both pocket monsters are also available.
