Pokemon GO June 2024 Community Day featured Pokemon all but confirmed

It is all but confirmed that Pokemon GO June 2024 Community Day will see Goomy in the limelight. Earlier today (May 27), Niantic released a short teaser on the game's X channel, hinting at the pocket monster that will be featured. The community had already been discussing the Soft Tissue Dragon-type Pokemon as a contender for next month's featured Pokemon.

Niantic revealed the next season's Community Day dates earlier in May 2024. June 2024 will see a normal Community Day on Saturday, June 9, and a Community Day Classic on Saturday, June 22.

Goomy is set to feature in Pokemon GO Community Day in June 2024

The short clip begins with a look at a tree and something moving at the bottom. As the camera zooms in, you can notice the pale purple antenna-like horns of Goomy. The caption reads "#PokemonGOCommunityDay." Niantic will likely reveal full details regarding the event in the next couple of days.

Goomy is a Dragon-type Pokemon from Generation VI which made its Pokemon GO debut in 2021. It can be evolved into Sliggoo with the help of 25 candy and then further into Goodra with the help of 100 candy and an activated Rainy Lure Module or during rain. The Hisuian variant of Sliggoo is still unavailable in-game.

The next season of GO is titled Shared Skies. While the theme or the seasonal updates are yet to be revealed, the GBL move changes have already been showcased.

Furthermore, Mega Rayquaza will return with Shared Skies, with Niantic featuring the variant in the new season trailer.

As mentioned, June 2024 will also feature a Community Day Classic event. The featured Pokemon for the occasion is set to be Cyndaquil, with Niantic releasing a similar teaser.
