Tandemaus has been added to the game through the Ultra Unlock: Better Together event that was hosted on July 17, 2024. It is most likely going to be an event-based Pokemon. So, you shouldn't sleep on this opportunity to catch this critter.
During the Ultra Unlock: Better Together event in Pokemon GO, you can encounter Tandemaus during Party Play adventures. So, for this, you can form a Party with your friends and while you play with them, Tandemaus will appear in your catch radius.
In addition, you can get this creature via trade. If you friend has an extra Tandemaus, they can trade with you in case you fail to find one in the wild. Before you engage in it, remember that trades can be expensive if the Pokemon is not registered in your Pokedex.
