The Adventure Week: Taken Over event is set to debut Shadow Timburr in Pokemon GO. The creature is a Fighting-type Pokemon living with a corrupted heart. Now, with Shadow Timburr being available to catch and train, you can evolve it into Shadow Gurdurr and Shadow Conkeldurr. Pokemon Candies are required to make the evolution happen. That said, you can partake in the Taken Over event to collect them.

The only way to get Shadow Timburr in Pokemon GO is to rescue it from Team GO Rocket Grunts.

1) Save Shadow Timburr

Shadow Timburr is a Fighting-type Pokemon, so it is 160% weak to Fairy, Flying, and Psychic-type attacks. These can deal additional damage when used in favorable weather conditions, which are Cloudy weather for all Fairy-type moves and Windy for all Flying- and Psychic-type moves.

In order to obtain Shadow Timburr, you have to defeat Grunts with counters, such as Mega Alakazam and Shadow Metagross. If you use Psychic, Flying, and Fairy-type moves and monsters with the same typing, you’re good to battle them.
