How to get Chandelure in Pokemon GO?

Chandelure in Pokemon GO was available to capture directly only once, as part of the Trick of Light Special Research during Litwick Community Day. Other than that, there is only one way to get your hands on the Luring Pokemon.

You must evolve Lampent by feeding it 100 Candy and using a Unova Stone. The Candy can be acquired by capturing, transferring, or walking with either Litwick or Lampent.

How to get Unova Stone to evolve Lampent into Chandelure

The Unova Stone in Pokemon GO can be acquired by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders, certain Special Research quests, and Research Breakthrough rewards. It is a black and white colored oval shaped stone that can be used to evolve not only Lampent into Chandelure but also, the following Pocket Monsters:

Pansear into Simisear
Pansage into Simisage
Panpour into Simipour
Eelektrik into Eelektross
Minccino into Cinccino
Munna into Musharna

How to get Litwick and Lampant in Pokemon GO?

Since the only way to reliably get Chandelure in Pokemon GO is by evolution, knowing how to capture its pre-evolutions is necessary

Litwick can be caught in the wild, raids, or Research tasks, or hatched from Eggs, depending on the specifications of the event.

Lampant sometimes appear in the wild. This critter can also be found in 3-star raids during certain events. In Season 7 of the Pokemon GO Battle League, the critter was available as a set reward starting at Rank 15.

Can Chandelure be shiny in Pokemon GO?

It is possible to get Shiny Chandelure in Pokemon GO. To do so, you must capture a Shiny Litwick or Shiny Lampant and evolve it.

Regular Chandelure has a black body with blue flames and yellow eyes. Shiny Chandelure, on the other hand, has a black body with pink eyes and orange flames. This makes it one of the best shinies in the game.
