Aaron Jones is an American Football running back for the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League (NFL). The NFC North giants drafted the RB in the fifth round as the 182nd overall in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Born in the city of Savannah in the state of Georgia, Aaron Jones spent his childhood admiring Emmitt Smith, Percy Harvin, and Tyrod Taylor. Growing up in an army family, Jones, along with his brother and sisters, had to move around often. They lived in different places like Germany, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and near the Mexican border in the city of El Paso.

Aaron Jones attended the University of Texas at El Paso for his college career. During his time with the UTEP Miners, he was known for deceiving the tacklers and quickness. In his debut against New Mexico for the UTEP Miners as a freshman, Jones had 127 rushing yards in 11 carries and scored two rushing touchdowns. He finished the season with 811 rushing yards and four rushing TDs.
Aaron Jones blossomed in his sophomore season, rushing for 1321 yards, scoring 11 TDs. The RB also came in handy as a receiving back, scoring 3 TDs, having 30 receptions and 293 receiving yards. Jones missed the majority of his junior season due to an ankle injury.
However, when the RB returned for his senior season, he started off where he left things. Aaron Jones had 1773 rushing yards and 17 TDs along with 233 receiving yards, 28 receptions and three TDs. Aaron Jones was drafted as the 182nd overall pick in the 2017 draft by the Green Bay Packers. The RB made his Packers debut against the Chicago Bears in Week 4. Coming in after injuries to Ty Montgomery and Jamaal Williams, Aaron Jones had 13 carries, 49 rushing yards and scored his first NFL career touchdown in a 35-14 win.
