Land Clark spent several seasons in the NFL Officiating Development program. He also officiated in the NCAA's Pac-12, working as a referee and deep wing official. He served as the referee for the 2013 BCS National Championship Game, and the 2015 Sugar Bowl.

Clark began his officiating journey in the NFL in 2018 as a field judge. In 2020, he was promoted to referee and has continued to hold that position.
