Tobias Dorzon has taken his talents from the football field to the kitchen in a major career move.
Dorzon turned his passion for cooking into a full-time career following two years in the NFL and in the Canadian Football League (CFL). In an interview with CNBC, the then-NFL player was frequently found hosting fish fries for his teammates when not competing on the football field.
Dorzon noted that he always had a love for cooking:
“Cooking was something I always loved. But it wasn’t until I ventured off and stopped playing [sports] that I realized I loved it more than football.”
Tobias Dorzon founded his catering company, Victory Chefs, in 2014. The company provides services within the Washington D.C. area. His transition from football to fine dining was no shock to his friends who were professional athletes. They and others have been admiring his culinary posts on Instagram since 2015.

Later on, Dorzon was a personal chef to premier athletes. His first sports client was former NFL Pro Bowl wide receiver Santana Moss. That led to cooking for NBA players, including NBA superstar LeBron James.
Some of his NFL clientele included quarterback Tyrod Taylor, receiver DeSean Jackson, and offensive lineman Trent Williams.
Other celebrity clients included singer Chris Brown, comedian Kevin Hart, and legendary rapper Snoop Dogg. In 2021, Dorzon was named executive chef of NBA superstar James Harden’s restaurant Thirteen. Tobias Dorzon is currently the owner and executive chef at Hundo House in Maryland.
