Tight end Tucker Kraft of the Green Bay Packers appeared on the team's injury report with a groin issue before the team's game against the Arizona Cardinals last week. He was only able to log limited practices on Thursday and Friday.

However, Kraft was taken off of Green Bay's injury list prior to Week 6, and he participated in every offensive snap of the team's 34-13 victory over Arizona.

Kraft was once more labeled as limited on the Packers injury report released on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of the team's Week 7 matchup with the Houston Texans.

It's natural for Fantasy managers to be concerned about Kraft's limited practice time this week, but Green Bay is likely being careful with one of its most valuable offensive assets.

Kraft should be set to play against the Texans on Sunday unless he suffers a setback.

It's even more crucial for the Packers to keep Kraft fresh for games now that teammate tight end Luke Musgrave won't be available for some time.

Although the team is optimistic that Musgrave will make a comeback this season, head coach Matt LaFleur stated last week that the former second-round pick has a serious ankle injury and was probably going to be placed on injured reserve.

It appears like Musgrave's injury layoff will exceed four weeks, but going on injured reserve will force him to sit out at least four contests. The Packers will continue to rely on Tucker Kraft, who has appeared to be a rising star this season, as their starting tight end while Musgrave is out. Ben Sims will serve as the stand-in TE2.

The team also recently signed TE John FitzPatrick, who was previously a member of the Atlanta Falcons practice squad.

Tucker Kraft injury update: What happened to the Packers TE?

Since the Green Bay Packers have an abundance of pass catchers on offense, it can be difficult to justify selecting tight end Tucker Kraft for fantasy teams. Nevertheless, given the team's persistent injuries, fantasy managers can safely insert him once more in Week 7.

Kraft has played for more than 80% of the team's offensive snaps in three consecutive games, demonstrating his increasing influence in the offense.

Tucker Kraft has 18 receptions for 231 yards and three touchdowns in six games this season. In addition to being a crucial run blocker, Kraft has demonstrated his immense ability in the passing game over the last three games, with 12 receptions for 154 yards and three touchdowns in that span.
