On Tuesday, the NFL announced it was handing Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller a four-game suspension without pay for violating the league's personal conduct policy. The news is a massive blow to the Bills, who are still reeling from the 35-10 beatdown at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football, their first loss of the season.
Miller had an innocuous outing in the road loss but has had an impactful season. He registered five tackles and three sacks in his first three games and was making a massive impact on defense. He'll miss road games against the Houston Texans, New York Jets, and Seattle Seahawks, and their home outing against the Tennessee Titans.

Why was Von Miller suspended?
Per Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN, the most likely explanation for Miller's four-game suspension for violating the personal conduct policy is due to the domestic assault allegations against the Bills linebacker.
In November 2023, his pregnant girlfriend Megan Denise accused him of assault, which led to his arrest. Miller was released on a $5,000 bond and she later recanted her statement and claimed that the alleged assault never took place.
According to NFL insider Tim Graham, the Bills were seemingly unaware that the league was investigating Miller for the arrest or any other incident they deemed was a violation of their personal conduct policy. In a post on X, he wrote:
"We don't know for sure why Von Miller was suspended, and Bills source tells me they don't truly know either. They better hope it was for 3rd-degree felony arrest last yr for allegedly assaulting his pregnant girlfriend. Otherwise, he did something else that hasn't been revealed."
