Philadelphia Eagles fans are enraged with Darius Slay after the cornerback went on Micah Parsons' podcast after Philly's 33-16 loss to Tampa Bay. The Eagles were blown out in Week 4 to fall to 2-2 on the year.

On Monday, Slay jumped on "The Edge with Micah Parsons" podcast to talk about the loss and the cornerback was in a joking mood, which left Eagles fans angry.

"slay pisses me off like what type of shit is this," a fan wrote.
"Dude's a CAPTAIN?? Thanks for permeating this soft & weak attitude from the top, down in the locker room, "captain"," a fan wrote.

Fans are not happy with Slay's comments about Eagles safety CJ Gardner-Johnson and also going on a podcast of a player on a rival team.

"This my problem with todays football. Why tf are yall on rival teams on a podcast laughing with each other in the first place? Do that during off season. Because playing buddy buddy during the season like this, blurs lines," a fan wrote.
"Major problems in that locker room. Same shit from last but now going viral," a fan added.

Eagles fans think Slay should be focusing on his own play and not making fun of his teammates after a disappointing blowout loss.

"Slay has needed to go for a few years. His mentality permeates a soft locker room," a fan wrote.
"He needs to go and I don’t care about what he says on a podcast or his tweets. He can’t play anymore he’s cooked. Can’t cover and won’t ever attempt to tackle anyone, at this point move on and start the young guys. Mitchell, Ringo, Dejean, and Rodgers. Maddox can go too," a fan added.

Slay is a captain for the Eagles this season, which Philadelphia fans are not happy with and are calling for him to be traded or released.

After Eagles fans were critical of Darius Slay's performance against the Buccaneers on Sunday, the cornerback took to X to defend himself.

"150 PbU's an counting! 28 picks an counting! 6x probowl. All pro. When u talk bad about me don't forget to mention the greatness of me too," Slay wrote.

However, after his post, Slay made his X account protected so only people who follow him can see his posts now.

This NFL season, Darius Slay has recorded 19 tackles, one forced fumble, and two pass defenses.

The Eagles are on their bye week before hosting the Cleveland Browns in Week 6.
