Jaylen Waddle and the Miami Dolphins are playing against the Jacksonville Jaguars in their season opener. The Dolphins are playing at home, and at the time of writing, the Jaguars led 14-0.

Unfortunately, for the Dolphins, Waddle once again got hurt. He left the game and was sent to the medical tent to be evaluated for a potential head injury.

Waddle, who had signed a three-year $84.75 million extension with the Dolphins, also missed three games last season due to injuries. In 14 games he played, the former Alabama star had 72 catches for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns while averaging 14.1 yards per reception.

As per reports, Jaylen Waddle returned to the game after getting evaluated for a head injury. He hasn't suffered a concussion and is eligible to play the rest of the game.

Waddle is an important player for the Dolphins, and his presence on the field makes things easy for both Tyreek Hill and Tua Tagovailoa.

So far, the Dolphins have failed to score any points in the game against the Jaguars, and they need to quickly get back on track. Given the strength of their schedule, winning at home in Week 1 is crucial for their playoff aspirations.

At the time of writing, Waddle had two receptions for 32 yards on two targets. He will be much more involved in the second half where the Dolphins will try to bounce back after a slow start to the game.

Before the game, Tyreek Hill was held by the police while he was driving his car to the stadium. Reports indicate that the Dolphins wideout was stopped for reckless driving and given the severity of the situation, the Miami police department will undergo a thorough investigation.
