Chris Olave is the latest New Orleans Saints player who got injured, adding to the laundry list of pregame injuries. Notably, Saints quarterback Derek Carr has reportedly been ruled out for several games due to an oblique injury.

Rookie QB Spencer Rattle has taken over the starting role against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but is set to lose one of his main offensive weapons. After just being targeted once by his QB, Chris Olave walked towards the blue medical tent.

Olave fumbled the ball as two Buccanneers defenders brought him down. Antoine Winfield then picked it up and secured a touchdown.

Olave suffered a concussion per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero on X. His report also includes a video of Olave heading to the locker room after getting examined in the medical tent.

With Olave likely to miss the rest of the game, additional responsibilities will fall on the shoulders of Alvin Kamara, Juwan Johnson and Rasheed Shahid. With just two minutes left in the first quarter, the Bucs are leading 17-0.

Chris Olave's brother takes to X to complain about WR's usage

During the Saints vs Kansas City Chiefs game on Monday, Josh Olave took to X and vented about his brother's low usage.

He wondered why Chris was just targeted once by Derek Carr. After the game, the Saints QB told reporters:

"That’s frustrating," Carr said. "It’s not from a lack of me wanting to throw to — I tell [the media] all the time, everybody knows I want to throw it to Chris. Chris knows I want to throw it to Chris. It’s frustrating when you grab the sheet afterwards and see that because he’s an unbelievable player and an unbelievable person and a good friend. I never want that to happen for him."

Can the Saints overcome the huge deficit and win against the Bucs?
