"Voting to protect my kids": Raheem Mostert's wife Devon comes out in support of Donald Trump despite facing harsh criticism

All the criticism is not going to stop Devon Mostert from publicly showing her support for former President Donald Trump. She started expressing her views more openly after two hurricanes wreaked havoc on the East Coast.

In an interview with FOX News, Miami Dolphins star Raheem Mostert's wife said that she was not afraid of the backlash she might receive for supporting Trump.

"As a mama, I am voting to protect my kids in the future, so I'm okay with the backlash."

She then commented on Vice President Kamala Harris, who she thought was "ill-equipped" to be the next president of the country.

"I think that she truly needs to look at herself in the mirror and realize that she is ill-equipped to be the next President of the United States. She cannot do an interview without stumbling her words. It's just really embarrassing, and it's not that I am against having a female president. I'm against having her as the next female president."

She also criticized the Vice President after she and Joe Biden released contradicting statements on Republican Governor Rob DeSantis' handling of the hurricanes in his state of Florida.

Devon Mostert receives racist backlash for criticizing Kamala Harris

While hurricanes Milton and Helene were ravaging Florida, Devon took to Instagram to call out Kamala Harris on her comments about the Florida governor.

"She's garbage. Textbook trash. No one has time, Kamala- especially not for her to say some bulls**t like, 'we can be unburdened, by what has been.'"

Following that, people flooded her DMs with racist comments about her and her children. She shared a story on Instagram, condemning such people with the caption:

"This is gross. I truly can’t imagine sliding into someone’s DMs or commenting on somebody’s picture of their family talking about the skin color of my kids. When you talk about my kids, you’re really crossing a line."

Tua Tagovailoa's wife, Annah, came out in support of her friend with a message on her Instagram story.

"Proud of our girl! Stay true to who you are, beautiful inside and out! [Devon Mostert]," Annah wrote on her Instagram story.

She even shared that her parents were proud of her for standing up to bullies and sticking with her view despite receiving backlash.
