Tyreek Hill welcomes Davante Adams, Amari Cooper with trash talk as WRs join him in AFC East

Tyreek Hill has new competition joining him in his division. But he seems unperturbed by it. Davanate Adams will rejoin Aaron Rodgers in New York, while Amari Cooper has been traded to the Buffalo Bills. And since divisional rivals play two games against each other every season, Hill is going to soon be playing against them.

Reporters asked him how he felt about the trade, and Tyreek Hill, as usual, launched into trash-talking both wide receivers.

"They still not the best receiver in the league," Hill said. "Cause I am. And I stand on that. I want my momma to send me this and say, 'You're talking trash."'

"I'm definitely happy for the bunch of old quarterbacks," Hill added. "That's obviously where he wanted to be. And for Amari, I think him and Josh Allen, those guys, those two guys were playing very well together, like one of those guys that can get open, you know, so it's gonna be like a good test man for our DBs whenever we playing."

Earlier, Hill shared a post on X saying that things were getting interesting in the wideout department in the AFC East division.

Tyreek Hill teased NFL fans with trade rumors

Earlier this month, the Dolphins wideout had set the rumor mill going about his own trade. When the Davante Adams trade situation was at its peak, Tyreek Hill took to X to post a cryptic message.

"woke up to trade news exciting"

That got people speculating whether he was hinting at his own trade out of the Dolphins. Days after that, he shared his highlights from his time with the Kansas City Chiefs on Snapchat. That made the trade rumors even louder.

But then he later came out saying that he was just doing all of this to tease fans and that he was really happy where he was, even with Tua's concussion, and did not want to be traded to any other team, including the Chiefs.

"I'm just focused on right here and right now," Hill said. "We've got a beautiful team here and I want to be a part of it. We've got a great situation here, my family loves it, I enjoy it, the weather's great, the fans are great ... Moving forward, I would love to be here -- I love being here."

So, despite the woes the Chiefs are facing in the receiving department, it doesn't look like Tyreek Hill will be rejoining them to help solve those issues.
