Travis Kelce spent $70,000 on customized Rolex, other luxury gifts for Patrick Mahomes' 29th birthday: Report

Patrick Mahomes celebrated his 29th birthday on 17th September. It was a star-studded affair and one of his buddies, Travis Kelce, made it a memorable event. The tight end pulled out all the stops to splurge on the gifts for his quarterback.

The US Sun reported that Kelce spent over $70,000 on the gifts. He was in cahoots with Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, to make sure his gifts were top-notch and loved by the birthday boy. At the top of the gift pile must’ve been a $54,000 custom Rolex.

As per the US Sun’s source, Kelce had the watch engraved with the initials of Patrick Mahomes, "P" and "M" on the back of the watch. The other gifts were a nod to their franchise, the red of Chiefs. These included a red Park Seo-Bo Louis Vuitton wool cardigan, a special edition Park Seo-Bo Keepall Bandouliere bag, and one of six $1,100 bottles of Masseto red wine.

Mahomes was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017. On the other hand, Kelce has been a part of the squad since 2013. Together they have achieved a ton of success on the field and formed a close bond off it.

Travis Kelce gave one more gift to his QB. Mahomes received a golf bag from his TE and expressed his gratitude for it. The three-time Super Bowl champion appeared on 96.5 The Fan’s "The Drive" show a fortnight ago and shared the details.

“Travis got me a Louis Vuitton golf bag so that is gonna be sweet,” Mahomes said. “I don’t know how much I can use that on the golf course, but it will be nice to have.”

The exact model of the bag is unknown; however, golf bags on the luxury brand’s website are available from $23,000 to $31,500. Patrick Mahomes is an avid golfer and loves to go out to the green whenever he can, more often than not accompanied by Kelce himself.
