Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce recently talked about the inclusion of flag football in the Olympics. The sport is set to feature in the 2028 Olympics, which will be held in Los Angeles.

NFL stars like Tyreek Hill, Micah Parsons, and even Rob Gronkowski have shown the desire to play in 2028, and even the league wants players to participate in it. However, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end doesn't see him playing till 2028.

Despite that, he is hoping to be a part of the team, possibly as an assistant coach. Here's what he said on the latest episode of the New Heights podcast:

“I mean, me and Gronk are the same age, so yeah, that's we're all in the same boat in that regard. I think we're all just going to have to be like assistant coaches or some sh*t. But I need a fu**ing gold medal, so I need to be on that roster somehow.”

Travis Kelce wants to win a gold medal and is willing to be part of the team in any capacity. The United States of America is very likely to win the gold medal in flag football at the 2028 Olympics, which is why we can expect the big names to compete.

It won't be surprising to see a lineup that includes Patrick Mahomes, Justin Jefferson, and Ja'Marr Chase, which will be a lot of fun.

Although Kelce has indicated that he might not play till 2028, he has looked absolutely phenomenal this season. After missing Week 1 due to a knee injury, the star tight end has been on a tear.

In five games this season, he has recorded 48 receptions for 525 yards, while scoring four touchdowns. He is on pace to have another 1000-yard season and is making his case even stronger to be the greatest ever to play the tight end position.

After six weeks, the Chiefs are 6-1 and have the joint-best record in the NFL. It seems like they are heading towards another Super Bowl run with Kelce starring on the field alongside Mahomes.
