Travis Kelce has become a force of nature in the entertainment world. As the Kansas City Chiefs tight end prepares for the next season, he has been linked with a sequel to the cult-classic Happy Gilmore, starring Adam Sandler. Kelce finally shares his response to all the conspiracy theories regarding this subject.

Kelce is no stranger to the glitz and glamor of Hollywood, as he has put on the hat of executive producer on more than one occasion. However, this theory from the internet links him to an acting role in Sandler’s Happy Gilmore 2.

On the latest episode of his podcast, ‘New Height’, Travis Kelce dove deep into this conspiracy theory shared with him by the fans of the podcast on Reddit. Kelce at first detailed the theory as he said:

“This is the theory, ‘Travis Kelce will be announced as part of the cast of Happy Gilmore 2’.” [00:09:56 - 00:10:03]

The three-time Super Bowl winner then clarified his thoughts on the theory and his reaction to it for the audience.

“Oh no, I didn't even know there was a job opening for Happy Gilmore 2, if there is I'll be a fucking extra,” he added. [00:10:06 - 00:10:14]

Kelce couldn’t contain his happiness at the thought of working with the legendary actor.

“Get around Happy Gilmore, Adam Sandler film or set count me in, obviously been a huge fan of the Sandman,” Kelce said. [00:10:16 - 00:10:23]

The nine-time Pro Bowler did confirm that there was no truth to this theory. However, he did leave the door open on the entire thing, saying:

“But yes, this is exactly what it says it is a conspiracy theory. Oh, who knows? Theories can come true; theories can be true and just people don't know about it.”
“So, I might even be in the talking and nobody knows about it. But I could also not be in the talking so.” [00:10:23 - 00:10:41]

Travis and Jason Kelce shared that they are huge fans of not only Adam Sandler but also the 1996 film Happy Gilmore. They’re eagerly waiting for the sequel to be released.

Travis Kelce is away from the bright lights

This offseason, Kelce has been in the bright lights more than ever. The Chiefs tight end also finished filming for his game show. However, he hasn’t lost his eyes on the prize of getting a three-peat.

Travis Kelce embarks on this quest as the Chiefs face familiar AFC foes, the Baltimore Ravens on the season's opening night at Arrowhead Stadium on September 5.
