Taylor Swift was 'happy to reunite' with Travis Kelce at Rhode Island getaway: US Weekly Report

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been dating since summer of 2023, with the couple flying out and covering continents to support one another. However, as their schedules continue to develop, it isn't easy for the two to meet often.

Following Kelce's return to the Kansas City Chiefs training camp in July, Swift continued her tour's Europe leg.

Following this, the couple finally made time for themselves during a small getaway in Rhode Island. Taylor reportedly threw Blake Lively a birthday party at her Rhode Island mansion, attended by close friends.

As per Us Weekly, the Blank Space singer was really happy to reunite and spend some time with Kelce.

“Taylor has been on tour and working nonstop and she loves the Rhode Island house and wanted to spend some time there while the weather is still good and she can enjoy it,” the source.

“It has felt wonderful to be grounded back home again. It’s been grounding to see friends and family and spend quality time with everyone, chat and get downloaded on everyone’s worlds because she has been so busy and disconnected.”

Speaking of Travis Kelce specifically, the source said:

“She was so happy to reunite with him and just be together."

Taylor Swift is on a short break before she resumes touring in Canada on November.

Being a celebrity couple comes with the cons of being consistently busy. Their demanding professions mean they also have to travel consistently.

According to an ET report from June, the power couple works very hard to maintain their long distance.

"Taylor and Travis make sure that the current long-distance aspect of their relationship doesn't last very long," the source told ET. "They both move their schedules around if it's feasible and try to carve out as much time as they can to see each other."

That being said, Taylor Swift isn't the only one who traveled across the globe to support Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end traveled to Singapore, Australia, Paris, London and even Amsterdam for Swift's Eras Tour shows.

While he might not make it to the Canada shows due to the NFL schedule, one can expect Swift to show up in KC for games before November.
