Rihanna might be headlining the Super Bowl 2023 half-time show, but Shaquille O'Neal and Snoop Dogg are not far behind. Every year for the past five years, Shaq has turned up at the Super Bowl, bringing his Fun House party to town. He sets up the stage as DJ Diesel and is accompanied by top artists from the entertainment industry.

This year's event will feature performances by Snoop Dogg and Diplo in what will be a part-carnival and part-music festival. It's scheduled to take place at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.

A separate megastructure is expected to be set up for the event. It's expected to involve games, rides and a great musical experience. It will be streamed to viewers all around the world, and the public is invited to join in the fun. Netspend is partnering with Shaq in this endeavor. The former basketball legend said:

“It’s been amazing to see the growth of the Fun House over the last five years, and we’re excited to bring it to the people of Phoenix. We continue to set the standard for fun. We’re thrilled to have Netspend come on board this year and allow us to go bigger and better and even fly in fans to experience what the Fun House is all about.”

There will be a Netspend Ferris Wheel and a “Nothing by NETspend” basketball hoop carnival game at the fair. One lucky guest from the flyaway sweepstakes launched by Netspend will win the grand prize, including round trip airfare, a meet-and-greet with O’Neal and spending money from Netspend.

Previous fairs have seen guests from the entertainment and sports world mingle and mix with fans. Patrick Mahomes, Adam Levine, Jamie Foxx, Rob Gronkowski, Floyd Mayweather and Migos are some of the big names who have previously appeared.

Super Bowl LVII will be contested between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs on February 12.

Shaq brings back Snoop Dogg for Super Bowl rendevouz

Neither Shaq nor Snoop Dogg are new to the Super Bowl festivities. While the basketballer-turned-DJ Diesel is bringing his party to the championship game for the fifth year, Snoop Dogg has previously headlined the half-time show.

Just last year, when the Lombardi Trophy came to the entertainment capital Los Angeles, Snoop Dogg headlined the half-time show along with Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar. It was a roaring hit and became the first Super Bowl halft-ime show to win an Emmy in the Outstanding Variety Special (Live) Category.

While Snoop Dogg was tearing it up inside the stadium, Shaq was out in force outside with his fun house party. It included Lil Wayne and Zedd while they were out in Los Angeles. Diplo has been a constant in all the events so far.

Both performers have become intricately linked to the Super Bowl weekend separately. Each of them has produced moments for fans to remember. Now, the two championship game mainstays are uniting forces for a party like no other.
