Stefon Diggs got sweet revenge in his first game against the Buffalo Bills, as the Houston Texans beat his former team in a dramatic contest at the NRG Stadium on Sunday. With the win, Diggs and the Texans improved to 4-1 on the season.

The Texans were seemingly set to hand the Bills a blowout loss as they led 20-3 midway through the third quarter. However, Bills quarterback Josh Allen led his team to 17 unanswered points to even the scores at 20-20.

The Bills then had possession deep in their territory with a minute left in the game. However, Buffalo inexplicably called three pass plays before punting the ball away, leaving just enough time on the clock for one play. C.J. Stroud and the Texans shaved some yards off and got within kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn's range. The veteran then hit a career-long 59-yard walk-off field goal to win the game for his team.

After the kick, a dejected Josh Allen looked for Stefon Diggs on the field and hugged his former teammate before exiting the scene.

While their embrace seemed innocuous, some fans claimed the wide receiver side-eyed the quarterback and shared screenshots to back their claim.

Stefon Diggs stats: Veteran WR's impressive outing vs. Bills

The 30-year-old may or may not have a grudge against his former quarterback and team but he was keen on having an impactful outing against them on Sunday.

Diggs finished the game with six catches for 82 yards, his second-most prolific game as a Texan. After star wide receiver Nico Collins suffered a hamstring injury in the first half and was subsequently ruled out of the game, the veteran stepped up to fill in as the first option in the passing game. He had more receiving yards than all of the Bills' wide receivers combined (82 vs 76).

While he did not find the endzone, he was critical in helping move the chains and setting up convenient scoring opportunities for his teammates.

Stefon Diggs hasn't had the most impressive start to life as a Texan, but he will be hoping to build off this performance and become a key contributor in the passing game in the upcoming weeks.
