Seliana Carvalho celebrates as boyfriend Mike Sainristil intercepts Lamar Jackson

Washington Commanders youngster Mike Sainristil started his rookie campaign with a bang, as the cornerback intercepted Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson. His girlfriend, Seliana Carvalho, took to Instagram to celebrate her boyfriend's interception. She shared a story put up by Danielle Lazu, which was captioned:

"Lffffgggggg Mikey!!!!"

Unfortunately for the Commanders, they were unable to convert the turnover into a touchdown. The first quarter ended with both teams recording just a field goal.

The Commanders picked Mike Sainristil 50th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. Seliana Carvalho posted two pictures of them with her baby bump visible.

To my love, you did it🤍 everyone keeps asking me how I feel but I simply do not have words. Saying I’m proud or that I love you or I can’t wait for this next adventure is an understatement. What I will say is that the last three years I’ve been with you, you have challenged yourself, you have grown as a man and that you deserve this more than anyone."

The two welcomed their first daughter, Summer Elizabeth, on June 19, 2024. Sainristil welcomed the baby into their lives with these words for his girlfriend:

"For the last 9 months I watched @seliana_carvalho THRIVE through this pregnancy. Some days much brighter than others, but baby you did the damn thing. You were strong. You were powerful. I am truly thankful for what I’ve watched you overcome."

With many more football games left in the season, Sainristil has it all to play for in his rookie campaign.
