New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara had a field day against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, September 15. After signing a contract extension that made Dak Prescott the highest-paid QB in the NFL, fans expected he would earn his paycheck.

However, they were in for a huge disappointment. Kamara alone raked up 24 points, which was higher than what the Cowboys scored in the entire game. Thus ended the night with a humiliating defeat for the Cowboys.

Saints fans were overjoyed and took to X to express themselves. One fan called for the Saints to just hand Kamara a blank check for his incredible effort.

"GIVE HIM A BLANK CHECK"

Another fan was so open-mouthed by Alvin Kamara's performance that he said that it was unrealistic and seemed like magic.

"Alvin is a magician"

And with this, the Saints have raked up a total of 91 points in the first two games of the 2024 season, and remain undefeated. Their opponents, on the other hand, have managed to record only 29 points.

One fan said that all this makes the Saints a team to watch out for.

"holy f**k the saints are scary"

Another fan said that with the way the team has been performing, they might make it to the Super Bowl.

"WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL"

While another called Alvin Kamara the GOAT.

"this man so goated."

One fan said that he might just become the NFL MVP this year.

"Kam gonna be MVP"

Alvin Kamara shows up for his team despite no deal

Alvin Kamara's $75 million deal, which he signed in 2020, will end after the end of the 2025 season. When asked if he'll be staging a holdout since his team did not give him the deal he had hoped for, the 29-year-old responded:

"For me, in my head, it would be kind of selfish to not go out there. I mean, I interact with so many people every day. These people love me like I'm family. I feel the same way and vice versa. I would be doing myself a disservice if I didn't come out here and try to put on for those people that have been supporting me." (H/T ESPN)

He himself said that he has put the matter to rest now that the season is underway, and he'll only pursue it again once the offseason starts.

After his performance so far, and amind fans' demands, how long can the Saints delay the extension?
