Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's relationship has been a huge growth factor for the NFL and Kansas City Chiefs. The couple's relationship has given the sport a horizon to expand its boundaries to a global audience, for which Pat McAfee recently praised Kelce.
In the latest episode of the "New Heights" podcast, McAfee made a special appearance alongside hosts Travis and Jason Kelce and praised Travis for his relationship with Swift.
"I assume you hear it a lot, Travis. You and Taylor's relationship is great for the sport. It is getting introduced to so many people," McAfee said (1:05:50).
"And you are and have been the perfect representation for our sport, too, I think. Personally, genuinely. I think that there's no other human that could do what you're doing right now, and how you're doing it is awesome. And you need to know that all of us are incredibly f---ing proud of the way you're representing all of us, dude."
Before McAfee praised Kelce, the Chiefs tight end detailed his recent outing with Swift in New York City. The couple went on a basketball date on Monday, a recap of which Kelce shared on his "New Heights" podcast.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were spotted attending the first MLB American League Championship game between the Guardians and the Yankees. The couple wore cozy black outfits along with luxurious accessories worth $5000. Recalling his time with Swift at Yankee Stadium, the Chiefs tight end said:
"I’m over here cheering for the Guards 'cause I’m a Cleveland kid, and I want to see Cleveland win a f–king World Series. It was mixed feelings because I was there trying to have some fun with Tay and everybody, all our friends … came, we had an unbelievable crew with us and hanging with us." (14:31)
"It was fun. Even though the Guards couldn’t pull it off, it was still an exciting game. It was cool to see Yankee Stadium because I always wanted to see that thing in person, in a playoff game, in a hostile environment and it didn’t disappoint, man. The Yankees, the fans, the players, everybody involved, man, it was awesome."
Before attending Yankees vs Guardians, Kelce and Swift accompanied Hollywood couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively for dinner in New York City. During the same podcast episode, Jason Kelce poked fun at Travis' unique outfit choice for the dinner date.
