"Only the beginning": JJ McCarthy pens emotional note for fiancee Katya Kuropas on sixth anniversary

Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy is celebrating his sixth anniversary with fiancee Katya Kuropas. He is on the sidelines recovering from a torn meniscus, as the Vikings spearhead the NFL season with a 5-0 record.

McCarthy wished his fiancee, Katya Kuropas, a happy anniversary on Instagram stories with an emotional caption alongside an image of them hugging each other.

"Cheers to 6 years my love. Still only the beginning," McCarthy wrote. "I love youuuuuuuu."

Of course, Katya chose to add an emotional note of her own.

"6 years but it feels like I've known you forever. I love so much and am beyond grateful for the life we have built so far. Can't wait to spend forever with you!!" Kuropas wrote on her IG.

Kuropas added a selfie and even shared an old photo of them, referring to it as 'babies.'

Before the 2024 season began, Kuropas took to Instagram to recount their final season in Michigan.

"Extremely delayed but… Reminiscing on how amazing this past season was. An abundance of blessings and the best memories. Feeling so grateful for everything that unfolded & for everyone that was part of it!! Sad to see this chapter go, but excited for the next one," Kuropas wrote.

McCarthy even commented on the photo:

"Drop dead gorgeous."

Of course, Kuropas was cheering on J.J. McCarthy as the Vikings drafted him during the NFL Draft. Posing with the QB, Kuropas wrote:

"A dream come true🏈💜."

Engaged earlier in 2024, the couple has not shared any details on their wedding.
