Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill shared his thoughts on the alleged lack of media coverage about Jay Cutler's arrest. The former Chicago Bears and Dolphins quarterback was arrested on DUI and gun charges on Thursday.

Hill apparently wasn't aware of this and tried to call out the media on X (formerly Twitter) for not paying much attention to the Cutler case. Hill was arrested by the police ahead of the season opener against the Buffalo Bills in September.

"I don’t see no media outlets talking about what just happened with former qb," Hill tweeted.

These words didn't sit well with several fans who attacked him and said he was trying to make this a racial issue while noting that Cutler acted differently to Hill during his stop.

"Rumor was he rolled his window down all the way, was civil, and didn't act like a f***ing 5 year old like you did," one fan said.
"“50 year old irrelevant QB arrested” This what you wanted fam we know you salty 😭😭," another fan said.

The race controversy made the rounds on Hill's comments.

"Ty trying to make it a race issue," one fan wrote.
"Way to race bait," another fan said.

Some fans proved Tyreek Hill and demonstrated that the Cutler incident was well over the media.

Jay Cutler was arrested in Franklin, Tennessee, after getting involved in a minor traffic collision. He allegedly rear-ended another car, slurred his words and had bloodshot eyes. Cutler was taken to a hospital after refusing field sobriety tests. Two firearms were found in his vehicle, including a loaded gun. He was released on a $5,000 bond.

Tyreek Hill, Dolphins face Colts in Week 7 of 2024 NFL season

Meanwhile, Tyreek Hill is set to take the field again on Sunday against the Anthony Richardson-led Indianapolis Colts. The veteran wide receiver has struggled to make an impact ever since Tua Tagovailoa went down with a concussion a couple of weeks ago.

Rumors about a potential return to Kansas City have followed Hill in the past couple of weeks. The player even shared highlights from his time with the back-to-back Super Bowl champions on Instagram, fueling the rumors that he might want back with Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes and Co.
