The Kansas City Chiefs offense has been decimated by injuries this season. The team has lost Hollywood Brown, Isiah Pacheco and Rashee Rice to season-ending injuries, leaving quarterback Patrick Mahomes with fewer offensive targets.

Wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who is making his second stint with Kansas City, had an impressive outing in Monday night's win over the New Orleans Saints. On Tuesday morning's episode of ESPN's "Get Up," Dan Graziano said that he feels the Chiefs still need to add another wide receiver before the trade deadline on Nov. 5

"They need to probably add a receiver, and they always do," Graziano said. "I think they'll probably bring somebody in, but they are elite at winning the football game like that is their top skill." [3:19]

Graziano also mentioned the need for Kansas City to improve their offensive line to protect Mahomes.

The Chiefs have been linked to notable wide receivers as the trade deadline approaches. Receivers Davante Adams, Christian Kirk and DeAndre Hopkins could get traded in the coming weeks.

Patrick Mahomes is excited JuJu Smith-Schuster is back with Chiefs

JuJu Smith-Schuster played for the New England Patriots last season and was released by the team before the end of training camp. He then reunited with the Kansas City Chiefs, whom he played for in 2022 and won Super Bowl LVII. While Smith-Schuster was initially signed as a veteran leader for the team, injuries have now led to him being an integral weapon in the offense.

On Monday night, he had a team-high seven catches for 130 yards, averaging 18.6 yards per catch. With the injuries to wide receivers Hollywood Brown and Rashee Rice, Smith-Schuster now has an opportunity to make an impact. After the game, Patrick Mahomes raved about Smith-Schuster.

"I'm glad JuJu showed that he's still got it, and I'm glad he's on our football team," Mahomes said.

JuJu Smith-Schuster only had two catches for 17 yards and a touchdown in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons. In 2023, he started just seven games and had 29 receptions for 260 yards and one touchdown with the Patriots.
