Jordan Poyer's wife, Rachel Bush, sent her prayers for Johnny Gaudreau's family after his and his brother's tragic deaths. Columbus Blue Jackets star Gaudreau and his brother Matthew were riding a bike when allegedly a drunk driver dashed into them from behind.

The incident took place in Oldman Township, New Jersey. Matthew, a player himself, became a coach later in his career. The two were in town to be groomsmen at their sister's Katie's wedding.

Their deaths sent a wave of grief throughout the sports world. Many celebrities reached out and shared their condolences with the family. Rachel Bush shared her condolences over such a tragic incident.

"Praying for this family, especially these kiddos. Seems like he was an amazing person, my heart breaks for them." Bush wrote on Twitter.

Bush's response was to Gaudreau's wife Meredith's heartbreaking IG tribute.

"Thank you for the best years of my life. Despite losing you, I am still the luckiest girl in the world to have been yours. I love you so so much. You were perfect. Some days it felt too good to be true. I love every single thing about you. You are my forever and I can’t wait to be with you again. I love you so much forever and ever," Meredith wrote on Instagram.

Other members of the NFL world also mourned Johnny Gaudreu's loss after the tragic accident.

"RIP Johnny. Heartbreaking. Gone to soon. Rest Easy Johnny Gaudreau," Gronk wrote in his IG story.

Philadelphia Eagles star QB Jalen Hurts also penned down an emotional note for the family, saddened to lose such an amazing human being so early.

The Gaudreau family was born in Salem, an hour's drive away from Philadelphia.
