Melvin Gordon has recorded 193 rushing yards on 52 attempts this season and has one touchdown to his name. The 29-year-old has not had the best of starts to the new season.
Gordon began the season with 58 rushing yards in Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks. He then put up 47 yards in Week 2 against the Houston Texans. He followed that up with 26 yards against the San Francisco 49ers and got his first touchdown of the season in Week 3.
Gordon had just eight yards against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4. He put up 54 yards in 15 attempts against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5.
Travis Etienne, on the other hand, has 215 rushing yards in 44 attempts this season. However, the Jaguars running back is still on the lookout for his first touchdown in the NFL.
Etienee had 47 rushing yards in Week 1 against the Washington Commanders. He then put up 20 yards against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2. In Week 3, he had 45 yards on 13 attempts against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Etienne then put up 32 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4. He had his best game of the season in Week 5, recording 71 yards against the Houston Texans.
