Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly isn't one to stray away from negative comments on social media. On Thursday, she took criticism head-on after comments on Instagram about her parenting skills.
Kelly posted photos and videos of herself and her four daughters on a ropes course. One clip showed her daughter Tyler conquering a course high above the ground and captioned it,
"Ropes course with a just turned 4 year old. I love her so much."
Kelly Stafford's post, which currently has over 7,000 likes on Instagram, also received some backlash. Many of her followers didn't agree that she should have allowed her young daughter to take on such activity.
On Thursday night, she clapped back at critics for questioning her judgment as a parent. On her Instagram story, she said her daughter wanted to do the course and even requested to do it again after her first try. She then asked to stop making negative comments and that if she needed parenting advice, she would ask for it.
"People saying I shouldn't have put her out there...you tell her that. I love that she wanted to, I love that after this, she kept going..I love that she conquered a fear she didn't even know she had. So please, just stop telling me what to do and not to do with my kids. I'm pretty sure I have it under control. If I need advice, I'm not too proud to ask for it...but until then I'm good and so are they."-Kelly Stafford on IG
Stafford then followed up the post with a photo of Tyler smiling after she finished the course.

Matthew Stafford is at training camp with the LA Rams, looking to reach the postseason just like they did in the 2023-24 campaign. In the meantime, his wife Kelly and their four daughters are enjoying a trip to Montana.
Kelly Stafford shared photos of herself and her children enjoying the mountain air and the adventures that come along with it. She took to her Instagram story where she shared snaps of the ropes course, nature walks, and even the glow-in-the-dark mini golf course.
Although Kelly and her daughters will soon head back to Los Angeles, she and her daughters will bring along a lot of fun memories with them.
