Jourdan Lewis throws shade at Amon-Ra St. Brown after Lions WR revealed Cowboys safety’s hateful DM

The Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions have some beef brewing and it seems beef intensified after the Lions humiliated the Cowboys 47-9 at Jerry World in front of their owner, Jerry Jones, who happened to be celebrating his 82nd birthday at the game.

Not much went right for the Cowboys on Sunday evening and a 38-point loss meant several questions were raised on the Cowboys coaching staff. But outside the field, Dallas safety Jourdan Lewis took his frustrations to another level.

Lewis sent Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown a text on Instagram, saying:

"You a b**ch"

After St. Brown posted a story on Instagram exposing Lewis' DM, the Cowboys safety wrote a message directed at the Lions WR, saying:

"That was between me and him. He decided to show the world."

When one fan suggested Lewis should just let it go, the Dallas safety said he was "absolutely right," and that was that.

Amon-Ra St. Brown didn't have the flashiest of nights at Jerry World - four catches for 37 yards and a touchdown - but the Lions thoroughly dominated the Cowboys.

Why Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jourdan Lewis have been beefing?

It all started in 2022 when the Cowboys beat the Lions 24-6. Following that game, in an appearance on The Pivot Podcast, St. Brown talked about how Lewis was in his ear all night.

"He was talking crazy out of pocket. [Jameson Williams] heard it too, he was coming in. At that point, it's ilike, I don't know what he's saying. I'm trying to make plays, win the game, I'm not worried about him," the Lions wideout said.
"But once he starts talking like that, if I do get a chance to kill him, Imma kill him."

The Cowboys have a bye week to get things together and sort out the defense as they look to bounce back against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 8 at Levi's Stadium.

The Lions, meanwhile, have been handed a major blow, with DE Aidan Hutchinson ruled out for the rest of the season.
