The Associated Press announced the 2023 First and Second All-Pro Teams on Friday, and to the surprise of many fans, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was not listed.

Allen, the league leader in total touchdowns, was named a Pro Bowler but failed to be picked as an All-Pro this season.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was named First-Team All-Pro, while Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was named Second-Team All-Pro.

Here's a look at the rest of the AP All-Pro teams:

Allen had a tremendous year for the Bills, throwing the fourth-most yards in the NFL with 4,306 yards and was tied for fifth-most touchdown passes with 29. He also rushed for 524 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Although Allen accounted for nearly 5,000 total yards and 44 touchdowns this season, he threw the second-most interceptions (18).

NFL fans react to Josh Allen not being named an All-Pro

Many fans were shocked to see Josh Allen not on the All-Pro list and expressed discontent with the AP voting. Many found it hard to believe the league leader in total touchdowns wasn't named an All-Pro.

Here's how fans on social media reacted:

"Allen not making All-Pro is a damn travesty. Voters should be investigated."

Did both Josh Allens get snubbed from being named All-Pros?

While you can make the case that Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was snubbed from the AP team, the other Josh Allen, the Jacksonville Jaguars' defensive end, also got snubbed.

Edge rushers Myles Garrett and TJ Watt were named First-Team All-Pro. Maxx Crosby and Micah Parsons were named Second-Team All-Pros.

Only Watt had more sacks than Allen (19), as Allen posted a career-high 17.5 sacks while breaking the Jaguars' franchise single-season sack record.

Garrett and Parsons each had 3.5 sacks less than Allen.

Many fans believe that the All-Pro list and Pro Bowl are proving to be more and more about a popularity vote and not what actually goes on in the field.

Social media is full of questions, such as why players such as Amon Ra St. Brown, Quincy Williams and Antoine Winfeild Jr. didn't make the Pro Bowl but made the All-Pro list. For some, that proves that voting is flawed.
