Garrett Wilson and Aaron Rodgers set up the Jets' touchdown drive vs. 49ers

Aaron Rodgers is back, and he is having an explosive start to the 2024 season against the San Francisco 49ers.

On Monday, the New York Jets quarterback played for the first time since tearing his Achilles tendon on a low hit by Leonard Floyd last season (who, interestingly enough, would join the 49ers during the offseason). And in the first quarter, he was lethal, completing all but one of his seven attempts during the Jets' touchdown drive - with four of those catches going to Garrett Wilson.

Excitement for the multiple-time MVP soon reached fever pitch:

More of it can be seen below:

"Jets offense is so back," one relievedly sighed.
"Rodgers proving all the haters wrong this season," another declared.
"It cannot be said enough how elite Aaron Rodgers is at the line of scrimmage," another's prognosis read.

Aaron Rodgers’ road to recovery from Achilles to be topic of Netflix docuseries

Fans who want more of Aaron Rodgers’ insight into his recovery from the season-ending Achilles injury have good news.

After seeing the success of the docuseries Quarterback, Receiver, and even America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Netflix and the NFL are partnering again to deliver the three-parter Aaron Rodgers: Enigma.

One of the co-producers is Religion of Sports, the same team that made "Simone Biles: Rising," which chronicles the highly-accomplished gymnast (and wife of Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens)' insights on recovering from her shocking 2020 Summer Olympics collapse.

In an exclusive clip shared on Monday, Rodgers was seen in an airplane with a bandage on his injured foot, discussing offensive plays (complete with diagrams). Near the end of the clip, he says:

“Listen, I believe in the power of prayer and intention, and from the first night this happened, hours after that, I was surrounded by a bunch of really special people in my life, and we just laid down a lot of prayers.”

The other co-producers, Skydance Studios and NFL Films, are also working on a 10-part docuseries that discusses the life and rise of Dallas Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones.
