The Jacksonville Jaguars had a disastrous outing in their first primetime game of the season as the Buffalo Bills stomped them 47-10 at Highmark Stadium. The Jaguars are now 0-3 and their odds of making it to the playoffs are almost negligent.

Jacksonville's defense gave up five touchdowns in the first half, while the offense could muster only a field goal, highlighting how dismal the team was on both sides of the ball. Despite Buffalo's offense taking its foot off the gas in the second half, they still outscored the visitors 13-7.

Jaguars fans on social were understandably incensed and directed their anger toward head coach Doug Pederson, demanding he be relieved of his duties immediately:

Some fans even demanded that general manager Trent Baalke follow Pederson out the door:

"Trent and Doug, time to go," wrote @JFickes88.
"Every coach and the GM needs to lose their job immediately. This is unacceptable and I’m sick of it. It’s the same thing, year after year," opined @michael_esq1.
"Get Doug Pederson the entire f**k out of my organization. Get Trent Baalke the entire f**k out of my organization," @seeyodeewhy demanded.
"There is no defense for Trent Baalke right now, there is no defense for Doug Pederson right now... It’s all horrific and games like this cause change very very quickly," @RyanGreen1010XL noted.

Doug Pederson gives grim response to question about Jaguars' 0-3 start

During the post-game press conference, Pederson was asked whether he could point to anything he saw in their first three games that the team could build off of ahead of the Week 4 clash against the Houston Texans:

“I really want to say something funny right now. I just can’t think of anything. Maybe the kickoff. Touchback. I don’t know. Listen, I get the question. Gosh, it’s just these guys. Listen, they work too hard," Pederson said.
"You watch them during the week. I mean, they work too hard and then this is what happens. This is the result. I mean, it just goes to show you each week how important each week is and being ready to play," he added.

The veteran head coach's response will do little to ease the Jaguars fans' concerns about the team's horrendous start to the season. Jacksonville has lost eight of their last nine games dating back to last season, with their sole win coming against the Carolina Panthers, who finished a 2-15 record.

It's been a grim few months for the franchise and they will need to turn things around quickly.
