Trevor Lawrence is set to turn 25 on Sunday, but that is a gameday. So his wife Marissa has thrown a party for him in advance.

On Saturday, she shared pictures on Instagram from a hibachi party for the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback that occurred on Friday night:

"Last night we had a hibachi party for out fav guy," Marissa wrote.

Trevor Lawrence, wife Marissa named ambassadors for hospital in Jacksonville

Trevor Lawrence has been endearing himself to his adopted local community in Jacksonville, and his latest appointment solidified that. He and his wife, Marissa, were named ambassadors of Wolfson Children's Hospital.

Institution president Allegra C. Jaros said in a statement:

“At Wolfson Children’s, we know how important it is to be a member of a well-oiled team. Each teammate plays a vital role in winning battles against the illnesses and injuries our children may face. ... It just makes sense that our NFL team’s quarterback and his wife would be a key part of our team that cares for and saves the lives of our community’s children.”

Michael A. Mayo, CEO/president of Baptist Health, added:

“We are deeply honored to have Trevor and Marissa join our Wolfson Children's team. Their compassion and dedication to child health will have a lasting impact on the children we serve.”

The quarterback said:

“The work provided by the care team at Wolfson Children’s is important to our community and helps keep the youngest Jaguars fans healthy. We are proud to stand with the Wolfson Children’s team and look forward to advocating for the well-being of kids in Jacksonville and highlighting the amazing work of the staff.”

The introductory event, according to a press release, featured several patients, Kennedy (age 8), Tyler (age 9) and Zion (age 14), as "reporters" asking the couple questions.
