Jason Kelce dedicated his entire pro football career to the city of Philadelphia, and in his time of need, the center has turned to the Philly fans, who have cemented their reputation as being one of the rowdiest ones in the country. And for the upcoming event of Kelce’s philanthropic venture, that is exactly what he requires.

As his charity organization, Be(Philly), holds its first-ever golf tournament, the athlete requires some hecklers. On the latest episode of the "New Heights" podcast, Jason Kelce shared the details of the event and his needs from the Philly fans. He said:

“I need some hecklers. We need hecklers. Yeah, (Be)Philly is having their first annual golf outing. It will be June 17 of this year.” [Starting at 00:03:06 in the episode]

For this special occasion, the seven-time Pro Bowler wants the golfers to feel the sporting environment of Philadelphia. Kelce further added:

“I want each and every member that is golfing in that golf tournament to feel what it's like to play sports and Philadelphia. The only way I know how to do that is to recruit some of the most raucous rambunctious Philadelphia sports fans, and best sh*t talkers in the Philadelphia area to heckle all of them while they're teeing off.
“I think that's one of the great pastimes of being a professional sports player in Philadelphia is enduring the wonderful fans of Philadelphia during tough times, and they can get to so I thought it'd be fun to let everyone experience that firsthand.”

Younger brother Travis Kelce gave his seal of approval to this plan, as he said:

“I love it."

(Be)Philly is from the heart of Jason Kelce

Jason Kelce launched his charitable organization, (Be)Philly, in October 2022. Since then, the former football star, along with his wife Kylie Kelce, has brought in new methods to raise funds for their charity.

These funds are then allocated to various other charities and organizations within the city of Philadelphia that have a track record of helping impoverished communities, as per (Be)Philly’s website.

Jason Kelce was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2011 NFL draft. Since then, he has led the Eagles to several glorious occasions, including the 2018 Super Bowl win, and it seems like the Cincinnati-born has adopted Philadelphia as his home.
