NFL fans were happy to see former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce having success in his ESPN debut. Kelce appeared on a panel with Scott Van Pelt, Ryan Clark and Marcus Spears for the 2024 Hall of Fame Game between the Houston Texans and Chicago Bears.

Kelce retired from the NFL this offseason and was hired by ESPN to be an analyst. In his debut, Kelce wore a beret that he got while he was in Paris.

Many fans had a good laugh from Kelce deciding to wear the beret, and after his first appearance on ESPN, fans believe the future Hall of Famer will have a lot of success on TV.

"He is so well spoken. Excited to watch!," a fan added.
"Jason is going to kick ass with this gig," a fan wrote.

The reactions were positive, as many were blown away by how good Jason Kelce was in his ESPN debut.

"Wow, he is a fantastic analyst. Looking forward to finally going back to watching ESPN again," a fan wrote.
"Jason is doing so good! He is a natural," a fan added.

Some fans, however, weren't surprised to see Kelce being this good due to his football knowledge.

"of course he's going to do well with this new gig! Over a decade of being a Pro on the Eagles! He is highly intelligent and is a natural on the camera/mike .. Why is this such a ' he's going to do good" thing? He's a pro!," a fan wrote.
"Jason Kelce made me FALL IN LOVE with Football again!!!! Thank you," a fan added.

Just off one preseason game, it's clear that NFL fans believe Jason Kelce will have a lot of success in his role as an analyst on ESPN.

Jason Kelce to be part of ESPN's Monday Night Countdown

Jason Kelce will be on the panel for ESPN's Monday Night Countdown for the 2024 NFL season.

Kelce was quickly hired by ESPN after he announced his retirement from the NFL.

“Jason is a highly respected, Super Bowl Champion with a strong connection to fans,” Burke Magnus, ESPN President of Content, said in a statement. “Walking off the field and immediately to ESPN, viewers will benefit from his perspective which has been shaped through his years as an established locker room leader and a future Hall of Fame center.
"Jason’s addition to Monday Night Countdown will greatly strengthen our NFL coverage.”

Kelce played 13 years in the NFL, all with the Philadelphia Eagles, and won Super Bowl LII. He was drafted by Philadelphia with the 191st pick in the sixth round in the 2011 NFL draft. Kelce is a seven-time Pro Bowler.
