Former New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola and SI model Xandra Pohl have been in the limelight lately. Rumors of a romantic link between the two have circulated for some time. However, during an interaction with "E!" on Thursday, Amendola revealed that he is not dating Xandra Pohl.
He said the model is a great friend of his, but there's no romantic connection between the two.
"No, Xandra is a great friend of mine. I’m a huge fan and supporter of her, and it’s good to have a friend like her.”
Danny Amendola added that while he isn't dating Pohl, his mother Rose, "loves" the SI model. Interestingly, his mother contributed to the speculation around the wide receiver. During Amendola's debut on Dancing With the Stars last week, Rose and Pohl were spotted sitting together.
Amendola and Pohl were also spotted attending Tom Brady's Patriots Hall of Fame induction together at Gillette Stadium. This sparked dating rumors, which were later fueled by Dave Portnoy.

"So Xandra is dating Danny Amendola. I don’t know if dating is the right word. Well, I was there [at Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction]. They’re together. Yeah, we saw it in action. Amendola dated Olivia Culpo from 2016 to 2019. After they split, Culpo began dating 49ers star Christian McCaffrey. They married in June this year.
