Darius Slay is no stranger to bold tweets, but his latest one may have taken the cake. He recently tweeted:

No context has been provided yet, but he may have been referring to himself and his Philadelphia Eagles teammates, who posted one of the best pass defenses in 2022.

But speedster Tyreek Hill and others had something to say about it:

Even the Eagles themselves seemed astonished at Slay's tweet:

Even though they currently play in different conferences, Slay and Hill will tangle with each other when the Eagles and the Dolphins meet sometime this season. In the meantime, though, their feud is seemingly just getting started.

Darius Slay ended his previous three-year contract at Super Bowl LVII. He later signed an extension in 2020, when he was traded from the Detroit Lions. The old contract was worth $50 million, with three-fifths ($30 million) of it guaranteed.
