Former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens expressed his thoughts on the Tennessee Titans treatement of Taylor Lewan.

Taylor Lewan tweeted a photo on Monday afternoon of a few trash bags placed at the front door of his home. He captioned the photo by saying that the Tennessee Titans had dropped off his belongings after releasing him.

In one of the bags, it appears that there is clothing and even Nike cleats. This insinuates that the team cleaned out his locker into the bags before allowing him the opportunity to do so. He then joked that they at least let him keep his shoulder pads.

As of Wednesday morning, the Tweet had over 9.5 million views on the social media platform. One of those being NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens, who expressed his thoughts on Lewan's treatment by the Tennessee Titans.

Owens said that it was 'classless' of the organization to do that and it shows what the teams truly think of the players when they are no longer on the team.

Taylor Lewan was released by the Tennessee Titans last week after he appeared in just two games in the 2022 NFL season after suffering another ACL tear.

Will Taylor Lewan retire following his release from Titans?

While the release of Taylor Lewan by the Tennessee Titans has shocked many, the offensive tackle wasn't surprised at all. After he tore his ACL twice in the last three seasons, the Titans decided to part ways with him after nine editions.

Lewan was drafted by the Tennessee Titans with the 11th overall selection in the 2014 NFL Draft. He was named to the Pro Bowl three times during his tenure with the team. But, will he sign with another team or call it a career?

Lewan hinted at his future move last week on his "Bussin' with the Boys" podcast that he co-hosts with Will Compton. The 31-year-old said that while he only wanted to play with one team throughout his career, he would consider playing for another team if his knee is healthy enough.

"It's wild, and to think about playing for another team, like, it's lowkey exciting. Like, I've said I only want to play for one team and stuff like that. But, if I still have the juice and I can get my knee to feel where I think it should and I feel confident enough to go play football, then I have no issue to play somewhere else."

With Taylor Lewan's thoughts on his podcast, it appears that if he can get back to 100% full health, that his NFL career may not be over just yet. And, with several NFL teams in search of a veteran offensive lineman, he may be a valuable addition to the roster.
