The Kansas City Chiefs "did it again." On Monday, they won for the fifth consecutive game when they held back the visiting New Orleans Saints 26-13 at Arrowhead Stadium.

Patrick Mahomes was not exactly the best player in the game, failing to find the end zone and being intercepted once despite otherwise dominating for 331 yards. But his offense still managed to score two rushing touchdowns - one of them being a trick handoff to rookie wideout Xavier Worthy from superstar tight end Travis Kelce.

After the game, the quarterback's wife Brittany went to her Instagram Stories to react, referring to the winning streak with Britney Spears' hit single "Oops... I Did It Again."

"Oops, we did it again (closed-eye smiliing emoji)"
"5-0 (three fire emojis)"

Shoe designer talks about custom footwear for Brittany Mahomes

NFL-themed clothing has become a craze ever since Kristin Juszczyk’s jackets first came into prominence in the 2023 season. Brittany Mahomes has been among their wearers, and now she can add shoes themed after the Chiefs to her wardrobe.

During last week’s win at the Los Angeles Chargers, she paired a red shirt and black pants with white Nike shoes with red and yellow patterns (bottom of the first three images):

Just hours before the Chiefs-Saints game, PEOPLE spoke with their designer, Colin Szumski. The 24-year-old Ohioan and Kent State alum, who learned the craft by watching YouTube videos during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, said he first heard of Brittany from her stylist.

From there, he began with a digital mock-up that he sent to her. Then he began his work - cutting up a red Patrick Mahomes no. 15 jersey, then stitching the pieces onto the shoes. The process took between ten and twelve hours to finish:

"That one was a little bit longer just because I had no idea what I was doing throughout the way."

Then he sent the final product to Brittany, hoping that she would wear them. And she did. Szumski described his reaction to her images as follows:

"It was crazy. I was just staring at my phone for two hours, just trying to take it all in."

Other clients he has worked for include Justin Timberlake and players for the Philadelphia Eagles
