Jonathan Owens just saw his wife Simone Biles create history and cement her name as one of the finest athletes in the world. It is natural to expect that Owens will be happy, but his joy finds no bounds.

The Chicago Bears safety had been granted a leave from the ongoing training camp to go to the Paris Olympics and support his wife. Owens’ support did come in handy as Biles ripped through the competition, claiming three golds and a silver.

On Tuesday, Jonathan Owens rejoined his teammates at the training camp. He also made an appearance on NFL Network's ‘Inside Training Camp Live’ and shared his feelings.

“She's amazing, isn't she?” Owens expressed joyfully. “I'm over the moon. I was just excited that I was able to sit there, and I was able to witness it and experience the energy, and the culture and just watch everyone react to her. My wife's a warrior.”

Simone Biles led the US women's gymnastics team to the gold medal in the team event. She stood at the top of the podium with gold around her neck in the all-around and the vault finals.

Apart from that Biles also won a silver medal in the floor exercise final. This has taken her total Olympics medal tally to 11 with seven coming from individual events.
