The Baltimore Ravens will need every player at full strength to take on the Kansas City Chiefs, the reigning Super Bowl champions, in the season opener on Thursday night. Even though the Chiefs are the favorites, the Ravens have the skill and capacity to impair Kansas City's spirits in the matchup.

That being said, Ravens supporters might breathe a sigh of relief after reviewing the team's first two injury reports for Week 1:

Baltimore Ravens injury report for Week 1

For the Baltimore Ravens, only two rookies are listed on the injury report for Monday and Tuesday. Running back Rasheen Ali is limited in practice due to a neck ailment, while linebacker Adisa Isaac is sidelined with a hamstring issue.

The Ravens selected Isaac, a Penn State alumnus, in the third round of the 2024 NFL draft. His previous hamstring injury kept him out of rookie minicamp, OTAs, required minicamp and the beginning of training camp. After recovering, he suffered a new hamstring injury in his other leg.

Ali will get one more opportunity to boost his rep total on Wednesday. Following that, the organization will decide whether to include him in Thursday's regular-season game against the Chiefs. Although Ali has cleared the concussion protocol, he is still recovering from a neck ailment sustained during a preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Mark Andrews' injury status

Tight end Mark Andrews of the Baltimore Ravens was in a car accident on Aug. 14, raising concerns about his availability for Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs. However, the Ravens announced a few days later that Andrews was not hurt and would be ready for the season opener.

Andrews registered 45 catches for 544 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games last season, but a fractured fibula and ankle ligament damage ended his season prematurely.

Tyler Linderbaum's injury status

Baltimore center Tyler Linderbaum had a neck issue that kept him out of training camp, but he looks to be fully recovered now. He was on the Ravens' injury report for the week, so fans can expect him to be an important piece of their offensive line in 2024.
