Fantasy managers may come to a crossroads in their fantasy draft where they have the chance to pick either Marquise Brown or DeAndre Hopkins. Both are enticing for different reasons, and both have some downsides. If you're faced with the choice between the Kansas City Chiefs star or the Tennessee Titans veteran, we've got you covered.

Is Marquise Brown a good fantasy pick?

Marquise Brown is a fairly solid fantasy pick. The former Arizona Cardinals star has landed in arguably the most opportune spot for a wide receiver: Kansas City. He will now be put to use by Andy Reid and catch passes from Patrick Mahomes. That drives fantasy value up.

There is an injury concern with Brown, but the upside is there. If he's healthy and on the field, he projects to haul in a ton of passes from Mahomes. The Chiefs were a defensive team last year, but any of Mahomes' wide receivers (ones that are reliable anyway) are pretty good picks.

Brown did well with Kyler Murray and performed admirably with the backups the Cardinals used last year, so it stands to reason that he's due for a major increase in production with Mahomes throwing to him now.

Much like JuJu Smith-Schuster a couple of seasons ago, Brown could be quite good for fantasy, but it's a little hard to predict with an injury and players such as Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce also catching passes.

Is DeAndre Hopkins a good fantasy pick?

DeAndre Hopkins is a decent pick with an asterisk or two. He was surprisingly very good with the Tennessee Titans last year, proving to be a dependable pass-catcher for Will Levis. That rapport has now grown, but there are some things that should give pause.

Hopkins was already old last year. While it didn't show up on the stat sheet, he's even older now. Age catches up to everyone, and it's often unpredictable. Hopkins might be slower this year, and that's worth considering in a fantasy draft.

Plus, the Titans went and added several weapons to the offense. Last year, it was largely Hopkins or bust in the passing game. Now, they have Tony Pollard, Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd. There are a lot more mouths to feed this time around.

Marquise Brown vs. DeAndre Hopkins: Who should I draft?

When it comes to these two picks, they could both be solid options. DeAndre Hopkins has less upside but is far more established. He used to be one of the absolute best wide receivers in football, and the talent is there. Marquise Brown has been inconsistent but has a much better situation.

However, it's that dependability and talent that gives Hopkins the slight edge. Our fantasy analyzer predicts two good seasons for these players, but Hopkins will have a slightly better output over the course of 17 games.

Of course, the difference is quite marginal, so it's true that you likely can't go wrong with either player. Brown figures to be a little more of a boom-or-bust player, while Hopkins will likely be more consistent week to week.
