Rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman comes with high expectations after the Buffalo Bills used the No. 33 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft to land him, making him a serious threat alongside Josh Allen. This upcoming season will present several questions for the Bills' offense, and Coleman might be the answer to most of them.

After playing two sports in college and choosing football for his professional career, Coleman poses an intriguing option for fantasy managers. Now that he's focused solely on football and is a member of a new-look offense, what's his fantasy outlook for 2024?

Keon Coleman Fantasy Outlook 2024

The Buffalo Bills went through major changes in the offseason, parting ways with their two best receivers, Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, who collectively had 15 touchdowns and 1,929 yards last year. This opens the door for Coleman to step up and start making an impact early in his career.

He's one of many rookie wide receivers expected to contribute from the very beginning, like Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, Xavier Worthy and Ladd McConkey, to name a few.

With Josh Allen lacking a clear go-to guy in the WR room, Coleman appears to be the best option to fill the void left by Diggs. The Bills added Curtis Samuel from the Washington Commanders and retained Khalil Shakir, who showed glimpses of his brilliance last season, recording 39 receptions for 611 yards and two touchdowns.

How the Bills use Keon Coleman will be key to his development and his merit for fantasy managers. Even if he's not the WR1 to start the season, he will probably be in the race for that spot as the season progresses.

Is Keon Coleman a good fantasy pick this year?

Keon Coleman may not be as spectacular as Puka Nacua was last year, but he has the traits to become a solid WR3 option with WR2 upside. Listed at 6-foot-3, 213 pounds, Coleman poses a threat to opposing defenses. His relationship with Josh Allen is reportedly off to a great start, which could be a great sign for both the Bills and fantasy managers considering Coleman for their teams.

His run-after-catch ability and agility for his size should excite Bills fans. On the other hand, his route-running and top speed, or lack thereof, make him a middle-round pick for most managers. Separation is also a weak point of his offense, but some details of his game can be polished, now that he's in the big league.

Where should you draft the Bills WR this season?

Keon Coleman's current ADP is 112th overall, which places him right behind teammate Curtis Samuel and ahead of Jakobi Meyers of the Las Vegas Raiders.

However, our fantasy analyzer gives Coleman the edge over these two players. Ironically, there's not a lot of difference here, but one would imagine that Coleman would get more targets than Samuel and Meyers.
