Jaylen Waddle or Khalil Shakir Week 1 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Fantasy football projections for WRs ahead of TNF clash - IMAGN

Jaylen Waddle and Khalil Shakir are two of the top receivers on their respective teams and they get plenty of looks. Both are popular fantasy options, especially ahead of Thursday Night's Week 2 game between the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills. With fantasy matchups needing to be won, which receiver is the better option?

Is Jaylen Waddle a good pick?

Jaylen Waddle is a good fantasy pick as he is one of the top receivers in the NFL.

Even though Miami has Tyreek Hill as their No. 1 receiver, Waddle still gets plenty of attention. Waddle recorded five receptions for 109 yards in Week 1. With the opposing team's top corners shadowing Hill, Waddle will get plenty of targets.

Is Khalil Shakir a good pick?

The Buffalo Bills have no true No. 1 receiver but Khalil Shakir would be one of the top receiver options.

Shakir is in his third NFL season, and in Week 1, he caught three receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown. Shakir is known to get yards after a catch, as he plays in the slot and in the middle of the field. However, with the many receiver options in Buffalo, fantasy managers have to pay attention to the Bills' offense every week to see Shakir's snap count.
