Chicago Bears wide receiver Keenan Allen has been dealing with an injured heel all week long. He was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, and his status for Sunday's game is unknown.

The Bears will face another revamped team in the Tennessee Titans at Soldier Field and having the No. 2 wide receiver healthy will be crucial. Chicago listed several players as questionable for this matchup, raising some eyebrows in the process.

Is Keenan Allen injured?

Despite being a full participant in Friday's practice, Keenan Allen is listed as questionable for Sunday's game. The veteran wideout is one of four players with this designation. That said, he should be able to suit up for the Titans game. Coach Matt Eberflus said Allen's "outlook looks great," which is a positive note after his heel issue.

Allen is set to make his debut with the Bears after being traded from the LA Chargers in the offseason. After 10 years with the Chargers, Allen was dealt to a Bears team with plenty of new faces, including the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, quarterback Caleb Williams.

In 2023, Allen played 13 games with the Chargers, getting 108 receptions for 1,243 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. He will play alongside DJ Moore and rookie Rome Odunze, creating one of the most dangerous receiving trios in the entire NFL. With Caleb Williams throwing passes, Allen and company should be in for another remarkable season.

Keenan Allen discusses differences between rookie Justin Herbert and Caleb Williams

During his 10-season stint with the Chargers, Keenan Allen teamed up with several quarterbacks, including a rookie Justin Herbert in 2020. This year, he will join forces with Caleb Williams in what fans hope will be an exciting offense. Speaking on the differences between Herbert and Williams as rookies, Allen said:

"The confidence. He [Williams] has always been the guy. When we first had Herbert, he wasn't really a starter going into Week 1, so that's a difference. He's always been the guy, so he's always had the expectation of playing at that level that we play at.
"He's ready for it. He's up for the task. His confidence is good. I wouldn't rather be with another guy right now than Caleb. He's gotten better ever since we started. The confidence is through the roof."

The Bears went from Justin Fields to Williams, and hope to return to the postseason. Allen is ready to make an impact from the get-go, but it remains to be seen if he can overcome the injury issue to start in tomorrow's game.
