Wide receiver Garrett Wilson and the New York Jets will be hoping to make it two wins on the bounce today (Sept. 19) when they host the New England Patriots at MetLife Stadium.

Wilson, an Ohio State product who came into the NFL in 2022 with a high ceiling, has had two outstanding seasons, averaging over 1,000 receiving yards per year.

However, Wilson has had to receive passes from seven different quarterbacks within that time. With Aaron Rodgers back at center now and with two full NFL seasons under Wilson's belt, this 2024 season has been projected to be the WR's best in the league.

Will Garrett Wilson play against the Patriots?

Garrett Wilson should be available to play in Week 3 since the New York Jets have not listed him on their injury report ahead of the game.

As the main target for QB Rodgers, Wilson is an essential component of the Jets offense, particularly in the passing game.

Wilson and Rodgers put in a ton of time during training camp to develop a relationship and timing. Although there is room for improvement, Wilson finished with 57 receiving yards on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans after making four receptions on just five targets.

Now that he is fully receiving passes from Rodgers, Wilson will be looking to surpass his 1,042 yards and three touchdowns on 95 receptions from last season.
