Is Brian Robinson Jr. playing today vs. Browns? Latest on Commanders RB's status for Week 5 Fantasy Football

Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. has been impressive this season. Surprisingly, the team has put on brilliant rushing performances overall, and Robinson has led the charge.

Robinson had his best performance of the year in Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals. He accounted for 21 rushes for 101 yards and a touchdown, in addition to three receptions for 12 yards on three targets.

However, Robinson might be at risk of missing the game against the Cleveland Browns as he didn't practice on Wednesday and Thursday due to a knee injury. Let's see below if the explosive RB will suit up on Sunday.

Will Brian Robinson Jr. play on Sunday?

On Thursday, it looked increasingly unlikely that Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. would play in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns as he missed his second consecutive practice with a knee injury that day.

However, Robinson was a limited participant in Friday practice and has been designated "questionable" to play against the Commanders.

The running back will be a game-time decision, coach Dan Quinn said in his press conference on Friday. Quinn also mentioned that Robinson was trending upward, which the running back acknowledged on his X account.

Despite the fact that quarterback Jayden Daniels' skill and accurate passing have garnered much of the attention in Washington's offense this season, Robinson has emerged as one of the team's most dependable weapons through four games.

Robinson will likely play in Week 5, but the Commanders won't have one of their offensive weapons available.

Furthermore, reports have dubbed Robinson Jr as 'good to go' ahead of Sunday's game.

WR Noah Brown was classified as a nonparticipant on Thursday and Friday after being limited to start the week. He won't be available for the team on Sunday.

Brown has been a reliable offensive weapon for the Commanders lately, but his absence this week might provide Dyami Brown a chance to impress against Cleveland.
