After losing their first three games of the season, the Tennessee Titans defeated the Miami Dolphins in Week 4 to earn their first victory of the year before having a bye week. The Titans' next test will come in Week 6 when they visit Nissan Stadium to play the Indianapolis Colts.

The Colts won two games in a row against the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers in Weeks 3 and 4, but they couldn't make it three wins in a row as they suffered defeat against the Jacksonville Jaguars last week.

The Colts still intend to start QB Anthony Richardson this week despite QB Joe Flacco's strong performance under center against the Jaguars. However, Richardson's health is still uncertain after two limited practices this week.

Indianapolis Colts injury report

Michael Pittman's injury update

Wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. was reported to be suffering from a bothersome back ailment earlier this week and there were also speculations that he may land on injured reserve. He also missed the first two days of practice in the week.

However, Pittman participated fully in practice on Friday but was only listed as questionable to play in Indianapolis' Week 6 game against the Tennessee Titans.

Since entering the league in 2020, Pittman has established himself as the Colts' top receiver. This season, he leads the club with 22 catches and is second in receiving yards (238).

The Colts' passing game will be greatly enhanced if Pittman is available in Week 6. Moreover, it sounds as though the receiver is no longer considered a candidate for IR, even if he is unable to play against the Titans.

Anthony Richardson's injury update

Notwithstanding his limited practice on Friday, Anthony Richardson will likely still play for the Indianapolis Colts against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler on Friday..

Richardson missed the game against the Jaguars last week due to an oblique injury.

Jonathan Taylor's injury update

Jonathan Taylor will miss his second consecutive game for the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6 due to an ankle sprain sustained during the team's 27-24 victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 4.

Since Taylor did not participate in any of the Colts' practices this week, it seems likely that Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson will again be expected to carry the majority of the team's backfield load when they face the Titans.

Taylor had been having a great season prior to the injury. In his first four games of the campaign, he already has four touchdowns.

WR Josh Downs (toe) and CB Kenny Moore (hip, shoulder) are listed as questionable.

Below are all the players carrying designations for the Colts going into the Week 6 game:

  • Wide Receiver Josh Downs (toe) - Full practice participation on Friday - Questionable
  • Cornerback Kenny Moore (hip, shoulder) - Full practice participation on Friday - Questionable
  • Wide Receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (back) - Full practice participation on Friday - Questionable
  • Quarterback Anthony Richardson (oblique) - Limited in practice on Friday - Questionable
  • Offensive Tackle Braden Smith (knee, ankle) - DNP on Friday - Questionable
